Error message anomalies with the Philips MPEG Verifier


These errors reported by the Philips stream verifier are likely to be harmless or anomalies of the verifier:
  1. Small scr errors on NTSC streams recorded at 29.97 frames/sec due to math problem w/ verifier.

  2. Verifier reports scr difference error if it is not exactly 1200 x (sector difference). Multiples of 1200 are ok despite what it says.

  3. vbv_delay errors.

  4. A single timecode error very early on in the stream.
